Major projects require a large amount of coordination: work packages, interfaces, budget, resource management, and milestone planning all need to be coordinated. With the Project Management Office, we will establish a modern support structure that allows our research experts to work together while making the best possible use of manpower and tools per project. A process-oriented project management office, responsible for the whole institute, reduces the administrative effort for the scientific and technical staff and allows a quality-assured execution of our projects. In total, this makes the handling of major projects more efficient and professional.
